URSKOGEN SILVA
I loved making all the illustrations and to help constructing the huge digital forest, making elements for making fantasy animals, and animations, and collaborating with the fantastic team with Bekk, Guriguri, Artisan Tech mm for making this complex interactive, digital experience for children (it is addictively fun for grown-ups too:)
The workshop consists of several parts that take place in two atmospheric rooms, designed especially for this experience, partly based on my illustrations and design for the visual elements in the rooms.
The forest room
The forest room consists of 3 x 10 meter digital interactive walls, and two huge trees atmospheric lights and workstations for the children. The digital walls consists av a digital animated forest, that is also interactive, and changes throughout the hourlong workshop
The Lab
The lab consist of workstations, educational and inspirational posters and interior.

This is the explanation for the experience on the NAMwebsite:
"I urskogen Silva inviteres publikum inn i et univers som åpner opp for nysgjerrighet for både kunst og natur. Silva betyr skog på latin. Innenfor vitenskapen har alle planter, dyr og organismer både norske og latinske navn.
Tap av biologisk mangfold blant de største miljøtruslene i verden, men hva kan vi gjøre for å ta vare på livet på jorden? Under museumsbesøket får publikum oppleve hvordan kunstnere og forskere har arbeidet med skogen som tema og motiv gjennom tidene. Barna blir med i en historie hvor de bidrar til å redde urskogen. Anbefalt for 7 år og oppover.
